Straight answers ## Questions we getasked every week How much does tree work cost?+There's no fixed price list, because no two jobs are the same, size, access, what's underneath the tree and how the waste is handled all change the figure. Daniel visits, looks at the job properly and gives you a written price with no obligation. The visit and the quote are free. Are you insured?+Yes. DW Treecare is fully insured with public liability cover up to £5 million, details available on request. Daniel holds City & Guilds Level 3 Arboriculture plus all relevant certificates held by Daniel and the team members, and studied arboriculture at Myerscough College. Can you work on a tree with a Tree Preservation Order?+Yes. We handle TPO applications and work to the specification set out in council orders or independent tree surveys. We also have experience working inside Conservation Areas and Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Do you offer 24/7 emergency call-outs?+We don't advertise a formal 24/7 service, and we'd rather be straight with you than promise something we can't hold to. What we do have is a lot of experience with dangerous trees, storm damage and trees down on property, and we respond quickly within our working hours of 6am to 10pm. What happens to all the waste?+Everything is chipped on site as we go. Chippings and logs are recycled for biomass, so nothing goes to landfill. It's included as standard, not an extra on the bill. Do you guarantee your work?+A felled tree can't be put back, so we don't make hollow guarantee claims.
